... I should probably explain where I've been all this time.
I wasn't dead, I've been around actually but my activity was pretty random. I'm still striving to change that and turn more active BUT apparently, I can't make it that happen as quickly as I thought.
*ahem* There is a reason behind that Zodiac poll, I just won't tell you what it is just yet. Hah!
In the mean time, I'm also working on a full blown ref and bio for Sky
. When I asked you guys what you want to see from me, a lot of you mentioned Sonic OC's and Sky so I went along with that~ The thing iss, quite a lot of things changed for past 4 years with this guy, as well as for others in Crystal Core series. Hopefully the new ref and bio will be interesting to you then.
When I say full blow ref, I REALLY MEAN IT! I'm planning to add his alternative (universe) looks as well, not just general, front and back look, with or without clothes etc. And while some of them will not be canon to the original story, I want for Sky to have his designs in other verses (since he has quite few).
Oh, I should probably tell you guys that Chibicon was a success~ You can check all the stuff from this small convention on our facebook page
---Awesome reminder that sensei's Manga Crash Course book is out on Amazon!
If you want a nice start on your manga styled human drawing skills, this is pretty much a book for you, no joke!
You guys know I started taking classes on manga couple of years or so back. You wanna know how much I improved thanks to this course??
Take a look at my human artwork before I started taking it:
... holy frickfracks....
Okay, you get the point.
Wanna see how I draw humans now?
I think I got kinda good at this~
The course works and I have the proof right here. XD I understand if you think that classes themselves and a course from the book aren't the same experience. It's true but heck, this is the closest thing you can get from sensei.
And yes, we had a lot of freedom in class, the only thing important was to practice while following the course. The style, the idea, anything else was up to us.
And no, the before and after pics aren't just a matter of simple practice. If you don't know the basics like I didn't, practice was kind of wasted in the wrong direction.
So yeah, taking the course redirected my practice in better way.
This is senseis hard work and all support to her is welcome, because from my perspective, she deserves it.
